"Hard" things

For someone who has run a marathon, running a mile is a piece of cake. For someone who writes an essay every week, typing up just a few sentences is an easy load. For someone who works out with 100-pound weights, 10-pound weights might as well be feathers.

So, how are you living? Are you working at the bare minimum, dragging through life with 5-pound weights? Or are you pushing yourself, giving your absolute best in everything, and not shirking challenges?

Once laziness finds a place on the couch of your heart, it doesn't want to give up its spot. So don't let laziness take hold. Push yourself. Do hard things. And enjoy life.

Whatever work you do, do your best. --Ecclesiates 9:10a, NCV

In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were doing it for the Lord, not for people. --Colossians 3:23, NCV

If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. --Matthew 5:41, NCV
